craft supplies:
1 piece of construction paper crayons or markers tape
a few long strips of tissue paper glitter string
hole punch

Cut out a kite shape from construction paper.

Decorate the kite just the way you like it with crayons, markers, or glitter.

Tape the strips of tissue paper to the base of the kite.

Let the kite dry if necessary.

Tape the top tip of the kite and punch a hole through the tape (tape reinforces the hole).

Feed the string through the hole and tie a knot in the string to hold it in place.

Now run, jump and skip with your kite flying behind you!
